I came to HBA my sophmore year of High School. Up until then, I attended Southwestern Schools. At Southwestern, I was active in sports, on the Honor Roll, and attending advanced classes. However, the best education that I received was at HBA. The curriculum at HBA is bar none! For the first time, I was struggling in school, but in a good way. I was being challenged (and I liked it). I got my first "C" at HBA. That was hard for me, but it pushed me to be better and to apply myself more than just getting past the next exam. The staff is exceptional and really care about the students that they are teaching. They take an interest in their students' personal lives and want them to succeed outside of the classroom as well. I graduated from HBA in 2006. I am now married and have a son. There is no question in our household about where our children will go to school.
