Extremely disappointed and now upset. For someone who operates an internet business I was shocked at Jennifer's contempt for her customers. She had a very rehearsed response to my request for our deposit to be returned. It seems she has this covered very thoroughly on her web site and must deal with this request all the time. I would definitely think twice about sending them ANY money. Our deposit was sent in August of 2016 and over a year later we still had no word on when our dog would arrive. We reached out to her over six times and always got a response but they always told us maybe next cycle and could never tell us where we were on the list. Once we requested our money back we are now AMAZINLY in line for the next cycle that could provide a puppy sometime in 2018. We started this in 2016, I am afraid my kids will be in middle school before they come through so we went with a different breeder a lot closer to home and will have a dog on October 27, this process took less than two months. My advice is to look elsewhere. I think they may make a lot of money off peoples deposits and never actually provide a puppy. The website is very clear on non refundable deposits, I told my wife I thought this was odd when we started this, now I know why!

If I could give this place a 0 star review, I would. We have paid our deposit and have been on the waiting list for over a year. Over the last year, I have asked to be called several times, where the owner (Jennifer) will only respond via email. We have waited patiently for our puppy, and have had several conversations with our children to get them ready for the new addition to our house. We were recently contacted by Feathers and Fleece stating that our dog was in heat and that we would receive our dog hopefully by the end of November. One night, my wife asked if I had read the reviews that were left regarding Feathers and Fleece (NOT THE FAKE ONES THAT ARE ON THESE GOOGLE REVIEWS.) I simply googled "Feathers and Fleece Farm Reviews" and it came up with an assortment of negative reviews (which I encourage everyone else to do.) I sent the owner a professional email asking for clarification on a review I read online about the farm, and told her that in quotations was the review. I got back a VERY DEFENSIVE email stating that she is a million dollar investment that is in the smile making business and not answering mean email business. She stated that she had bred thousands of dogs and doesn't owe me anything. She sent me like 10-15 email addresses of her customers that she wanted me to contact and her veterinarian phone number, but told me to respect his time. She then said that she was refunding my deposit and I was losing my place in line because she is not the right breeder for me, and that I'd be happier picking a breeder closer to my home. I answered her in another email, BECAUSE SHE WOULDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE, and asked her why I was losing my place in line after I had paid and waited over a year?!?....All for asking a question about a review, THAT I DIDN'T EVEN WRITE!!!! She then cut off communication with me and my wife and refunded my money via Paypal. My question is, what is the owner trying to hide??? She claims that the review was left by a jealous breeder, but then treats her customers like this? We are very thankful the relationship with the company was severed. After talking to other breeders that have done business with Jennifer, they have said that her dogs are overworked, and it's not everything that it's cracked up to be. We have since found another puppy and have worked with a breeder who is happy to answer questions/concerns without the attitude. I've seen better customer service at Taco Bell than Feathers and Fleece. What is a breeder hiding when she is met with a question that would make her refund and cut ties with a client? I would STRONGLY urge potential customers to reconsider spending their money with this "company" before they wait over a year to add a member to their family and be told they cannot. The fact that Jennifer said she is in the "smile making business" is a crock, considering she was in the tear making business earlier this week with my kids. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Very disappointed! Our family had been on the wait list for over a year. The only communication we had from feathers and fleece was when we requested updates. At one point we were told we were on tract for the spring 2017 breeding. Well that never happened. They actually sent me an announcement of breeding for the wrong litter size. I was told Jennifer would call but didn't. I tried to call and could only leave a message. I then got an email saying they confused me with another client. No call! Since spring I have requested an update every 6 weeks. One time I asked what number we were on the list and how many puppies were typically in a litter. The reply was that they didn't have a numbered list. Getting super frustrated at no breeding announcement by September 31st, we requested our deposit back and even said we'd accept 80%. That's when Jennifer got excitably RUDE! We have been patiently waiting for over a year and she didn't even have the decency to be respectful. Then miraculously we get an email the next day with a breeding announcement?! Then another email offering us a puppy spot another client had to pass on! That would mean we could get the puppy in February. No thanks! We felt lead on and realized we cannot trust feathers and fleece farm to deliver on their email word! We did not receive our deposit back and I would never recommend this internet run only breeding farm.

We just got a puppy from them today, a Newfoundland komador mix. Everyone was helpful and kind. We waited a short time on a waiting list and got a puppy that fits our family . Facility was clean, dogs all seemed happy and healthy. The parents are onsite and we got to interact with them, to see there size and temperament. I will definitely get another puppy from them. I had a good experience.

Getting a puppy from this farm was a Father's Day present for my husband since last year. He works very hard for our family, and I knew that a dog was always something that he has wanted. I can't believe that after my husband asked a question to the breeder off of a review that was online, written by someone else, Jennifer, who I think is the owner, refunded our money and told him he can't have a puppy from her farm/program. After she cut us off and refunded our money, I started reaching out to other breeders to try and still get my husband the dog he's been waiting for over a year. When I started doing my research, I started questioning even more how she runs her breeding program. After everything was said and done we are fortunate to not have gotten a dog from here. I am just glad that we were presented with the owners true colors before we had the dog and needed her for something. She is very unresponsive "business woman". But on top of all that, I question her validity as a company that she disqualified my husband and family after a year of waiting over an email that was sent to ask clarification on a review that someone else had written. What are they hiding, and why did she not want to answer? Very disturbing. Thankful we are done with them.
